Community Loan Fund a finalist for NHBSR 2024 Sustainability Award
CDFI, Economic Inclusion, Energy Efficiency Solutions, Sustainable Food SystemsFor the second straight year, the New Hampshire Community Loan Fund has been named a finalist in the Business Sustainability Awards hosted by New Hampshire Businesses for Social Responsibility (NHBSR).
The awards celebrate the outstanding contributions of businesses, students, and individuals who have exhibited exemplary leadership across community engagement, environmental stewardship, governance, and workplace initiatives. They will be presented March 13 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Southern New Hampshire University in Hooksett.
The Community Loan Fund is a finalist for the Governance Award, along with Casella and Easterseals NH. The honor recognizes our implementation of a campus-wide waste management initiative that includes recycling all materials accepted by the City of Concord, tracking our non-recyclable trash output, and composting food waste. The result has been a 43% reduction in our non-recyclable trash volume.
We won last year’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award.
Tickets for the event are $50 for NHBSR members and $75 for non-members. Visit Sustainability Awards 2024 - NHBSR to learn more and register.
