Policy & Advocacy Academy
This training series prepares ROC members to engage in state-level legislative advocacy efforts.
After this four-week series, participants will feel more empowered to take action and influence state policy-making decisions to improve the lives of those living in manufactured- housing communities.
Who is eligible?
Policy & Advocacy is designed for residents of ROCs.
Cost:
This series is FREE to all residents of ROCs in New Hampshire.
Dates:
January 15th - All About Policy 5:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
January 22nd - All About Advocacy 5:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
January 29th - Putting Skills to Practice 5:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
February 5th - State House Day 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Classes can be In-Person or Via Zoom
Classes will be held at New Hampshire Community Loan Fund at 7 Wall Street, Concord, NH
In-person attendance strongly encouraged for the last day to visit the New Hampshire State House and practice learned skills!

Explore the what’s unique about New Hampshire’s state legislative process, including how a bill becomes a law, public hearings, and more.
- Advocacy Strategy
Advocacy can be more than sharing testimony at the State House. Explore other avenues for connecting with policymakers, including inviting them to your next community meeting, hosting a bus tour, etc.
- Tour the State House
The celebration day at the conclusion of Policy Academy will include a tour of the State House and the opportunity to eat lunch with New Hampshire policymakers.
