Information Technology Manager

The Information Technology Manager (IT Manager) is responsible for overseeing the New Hampshire Community Loan Fund’s technology strategy, managing IT infrastructure, leading digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring effective use of the technology to achieve business objectives.

Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Responsible for collaboration with senior management to develop and execute technology strategies aligned with the organization’s overall objectives. This involves identifying opportunities for leveraging technology to drive innovation and improve efficiency.
  • Manage the IT Team who are responsible for overseeing the organization's IT Infrastructure, Including hardware, software, networks and cloud services.  This involves ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems to support business operations effectively.
  • Plays a key role in leading digital transformation initiatives within the organization. This may include modernizing legacy systems, adopting emerging technologies, and implementing digital solutions to enhance customer experiences and streamline processes.
  • Stay abreast of technological trends and advancements, evaluating emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT) for potential adoption. They assess how these technologies can drive innovation and create value for the organization.
  • They are responsible for safeguarding the organization’s data assets and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS. This involves implementing security measures, conducting risk assessments, and developing data protection policies and procedures.
  • As a team leader, the IT Manager provides leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the technology team. They inspire and motivate team members, foster professional development, and cultivate a positive work environment.
  • They collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and programs, to understand their technological needs and priorities. They communicate technology initiatives, solicit feedback, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar required; master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • At least ten years of experience managing an IT department.
  • Proficiency in M365 to include azure, SharePoint, teams and Intune, IT systems, infrastructure, and architecture.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and programming languages.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
  • Understanding of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in latest technology for IT systems and management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Through understanding of IT and practical applications to support the company’s goals. 

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hand to finger, handle, and reach with hands and arms above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Specific vision abilities required in this job include the ability to adjust focus between near and far.

  • Ability to answer telephones and use standard office equipment (copier, fax, etc.).
  • Ability to read, write, and understand and speak English clearly.
  • Ability to use a computer for Community Loan Fund business.
  • Ability to drive for extended periods, both day and night.
  • Ability to walk for extended periods on various terrains.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.

Employment Details

  • Location: Concord, NH and hybrid (in office Tuesday and Wednesday. Training will be in person)
  • Salary: $79,000-$129,000
