Sarah Marchant, AICP, joined the New Hampshire Community Loan Fund as Chief of Staff in 2021. She is responsible for business management, executive communications, and cross-organizational strategic initiatives.
Previously, Sarah served the City of Nashua from 2014-2021 as the Director of Community Development, responsible for the leadership and financial management of the Division and over 70 team members across six departments: Building Safety; Code Enforcement; Planning and Zoning; Waterways; Transportation; Urban Programs; and various commissions, boards, and programs.
In 2022, Sarah was elected to the American Planning Associations AICP Commission for Region 5 and serves as the Professional Development Officer of the Northern New England Chapter of the American Planning Association (NNECAPA) (having served as president from 2015 to 2021). She also serves on the Executive Committee of the New Hampshire Planners Association (NHPA) as Federal Legislative Liaison and served as President from 2010-2014. In 2019, Sarah was appointed to the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority (NHHFA) Board of Directors.
She holds a BA from the University of New Hampshire and an MA from the University of Connecticut.
