NH Community Development Finance Authority (NH CDFA) has awarded New Hampshire Community Loan Fund a $262,500 Tax Credit Program award. The funds will be used to cover the downpayment and closing costs for NH families with low incomes who want to purchase new, affordable, EnergyStar-rated manufactured homes.
Homebuyers with Low Incomes:
Families at 80% of Area Median Income or below can receive up to $35,000 in 0% financing to cover downpayment and closing costs for an energy-efficient home that will lower their bills and improve their financial independence.
NH Businesses:
When businesses purchase the tax credits, the Community Loan Fund receives a donation and the business receives 75% of that contribution as a New Hampshire state tax credit that can be applied against the Business Profits Tax, Business Enterprise Tax, or Insurance Premium Tax*.
