Charlene advocates for farmers, fishers, food producers and value-chain businesses that focus on strengthening the local food system, by providing financing and technical assistance to these entrepreneurs.
Most recently, Charlene held the position of Manager of Business Education at the Community Loan Fund, where she facilitated skill-strengthening opportunities and the right expertise to advance borrowers’ profitability, job creation, and sustainable business development.
Her professional career reflects a variety of positions with a small-business manufacturer, a global supplier of EMI shielding and thermal interface materials, and founder of her own marketing consulting business.
Charlene participates in numerous action-oriented food system initiatives regionally and statewide, such as NH Food Alliance, Farm to Institution New England and NH Agricultural Financiers.
She has a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Eastern Nazarene College.
