These are extraordinary times, for New Hampshire and the world. But, people are extraordinary, too.
There are a lot of unknowns. What we do know is that this economic disruption will hit our neighbors with low incomes hardest. By bridging to our borrowers with help now we can keep people in their affordable homes and business teams intact.
Our borrowers include small businesses—including restaurants, child care centers, and community nonprofits—at risk of closing forever.
We’re letting all our borrowers know we will be patient and flexible. Our Borrower Stabilization Fund will help ensure that we have the resources to help the laid-off waiter who can’t pay his mortgage, as well as the resident-owned communities whose homeowners are struggling to pay their rent, and the business that needs technical assistance and coaching to pivot to the new economic landscape.
We need your help.
Your donation to our Borrower Stabilization Fund today could help us provide:
- Moratoriums on loan payments for borrowers affected by illness, layoffs, or closures
- Customized coaching to help businesses through their unforeseen challenges
- A free, confidential, help line to connect our borrowers with community resources
You can help preserve jobs, homes, and essential services that keep our state going today—and help your neighbors and local businesses bounce back tomorrow.
We will get through this together.
We also accept donations through PayPal. Search for the New Hampshire Community Loan Fund. Our EIN is 22-2524015.
