ROC-NH hopes you'll join us in online trainings on a variety of ROC-related topics throughout spring 2023. All are free, open to all co-op residents and board members, and will take place via Zoom. March 29: Capital Improvement Plans

A CIP is a critical tool ROCs use to meet the needs of their community infrastructure. In this training, we'll dig deep into the plan and how to use it.
6-7:30 p.m.

You'll learn:

  • The difference between maintenance and capital improvement.
  • What information you'll need at the ready to start working on your CIP and how to get it.
  • A look at a sample CIP and how it's created.
  • What needs to be included in the plan? Who needs to approve it? We'll talk about frequently asked questions.

April 3: Enforcing community rules

Your Community Rules are an essential piece of your park's management, if they're enforced consistently and fairly. We'll discuss how.

  • RSA 205-A: Regulation of Manufactured Housing Parks and your Community Rules

  • Tips on effective enforcement

May 1+3: ROC Essentials (two parts)

Join us both nights (Monday and Wednesday) to learn about ROC Essentials. Formerly ROC 101, this training will cover the basics of running a ROC. Great for residents and board members.

  • Governance of your ROC through bylaws, community rules, policies and procedures, and loan documents.
  • The roles of the board and the membership.
  • The importance of effective meetings and how to make them happen.
