expanding affordable housing

We're working to expand both the amount and the quality of rental housing available to people of modest means, and to keep it affordable.

We support the state’s affordable housing developers by offering:

  • Pre-development loans to meet the expenses incurred in assessing development opportunities prior to acquisition
  • Bridge financing to assist in acquiring properties for affordable rental development or improvement
  • Gap financing to assist with construction phase
  • Permanent project financing
  • Technical assistance and advice to build their fiscal strength and productivity

Start the application process by submitting a loan inquiry, or by calling us at 224-6669. After a potential borrower’s inquiry, we help them assemble the material needed to evaluate the loan request. We also work closely with other lenders to match a project’s funding sources to its uses.
