New Hampshire Revised Statutes Annotated (RSA) 205-A regulate manufactured-home (also called mobile home) parks. Resident-owned communities (ROCs), their members and residents must follow, and are protected by, these laws.
All cooperative members should be familiar with RSA 301-A, which governs consumer cooperatives, including ROCs.
RSA 540 affects the landlord-tenant relationship and are applicable in manufactured housing where not inconsistent with RSA 205-A.
ROCs are also incorporated under the state's RSA 293-A, which offer guidance in the proper operation of a cooperative.

Every board member serving in a New Hampshire resident-owned community (ROC) has access to a free, confidential, 24-hour helpline. A specialist will discuss your situation with you and connect you with the specific help you need, ranging from legal and health issues to mental health and child and elder care management. 2-1-1 is a free phone number and website connecting yous, at no charge, to information about critical health and human services in your communities.

NH's Office of Energy and Planning provides financial assistance to help low- and moderate-income households heat their homes during the winter season.

A 2009 study by the University of New Hampshire's Carsey Institute, The Experience of the New Hampshire Community Loan Fund in Mainstreaming of Acquisition Loans to Cooperative Manufactured Housing Communities,found that the Community Loan Fund's introduction of loans to convert manufactured housing parks to resident-ownership, combined with the excellent performance of those loans, led mainstream financial institutions to adopt the product.
