Small Towns & Municipalities

Helping communities and nonprofits plan projects and secure the needed funding and expertise to implement the projects.

Overview of City

Services

Project Development

Grant funds require significant planning and preparation before an application is submitted: establish a scope of work, develop budgets and timelines, and identify match funds. Then, when a potential funding source is discovered, collect organizational documents.

Grant Writing

Small towns often have to look to grant funds to support projects that create jobs and opportunities and improve the quality of life for the individuals and families who live there. We offer years of experience in securing grant funds that help create jobs and improve communities.

Project Management

We are committed to bringing in and partnering with other resources like professional consultants, state/federal/private grant funders, Regional Planning Commissions/Development Corporations, banks, municipal staff and selectboards, and more, to achieve the success you envision for your project.

Celebrating Success

It may sound corny, but it’s true — we only succeed when our borrowers succeed. Their stories bring us joy and drive us every day to work to provide more opportunities for our neighbors  to shine.

Liz CharlwoodConsultant

I never expected that the Community Loan Fund could fill a role like this. I didn’t know that they had that type of creativity and flexibility.
