Welcome Home Loan Administrator

The Welcome Home Loan Administrator is responsible for helping to coordinate compliance audits, project management, and post-closing construction loan disbursement, for the Welcome Home Loan Servicing Team. This role will work closely with the team to ensure processes and procedures are maintained and updated, and project deadlines are met. This position will also provide back-up support to other members of the team as needed. 

Reports To: BSA Compliance Officer & Director of Welcome Home Loans Servicing

Program: Welcome Home Loans

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Assisting the Compliance/BSA Officer
  • Second review of documents for accuracy and compliance adherence
  • Post closing construction loan disbursements and monitoring
  • Provide back up for the Loan Closing Administrator and Loan Servicing Coordinator.
  • Cross train as back up for policy management process
  • Manage quarterly compliance control audits
  • Assist with facilitating the annual compliance audits
  • Manage special projects to help the team work to maximum efficiency.
  • Respond to routine customer complaints
  • Use of computer software tools, and ability to learn new technology in the future
  • Participate in process improvements that redesign our work for growing scale, and document new procedures
  • Perform other duties as required to advance Community Loan Fund strategies and goals

Education and Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in the banking and/or mortgage industry with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, audits, real estate closing, and servicing.
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in performing the closing function and experience with loan origination software systems (Byte). Familiarity with loan documentation and loan disclosures is required.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

  • Excellent communication skills including superb listening skills; ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and across organizational programs.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hand to finger, handle, and reach with hands and arms above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Specific vision abilities required in this job include the ability to adjust focus between near and far.

  • Ability to answer telephones and use standard office equipment (copier, fax, etc.).
  • Ability to read, write, and understand and speak English clearly.
  • Ability to use a computer for Community Loan Fund business.
  • Ability to drive for extended periods, both day and night.
  • Ability to walk for extended periods on various terrains.
  • Ability to lift at least five pounds.

Employment Details

  • Location: Concord, NH and hybrid (in office Tuesday and Wednesday Training will be in person)
  • Salary: $57,500
